Paddy’s Day Weekend in Liverpool
One of the biggest weekends in Liverpool’s yearly calendar is just around the corner! As the streets turn green for St Patrick’s Day, we have picked out the best Liverpool events for you to get involved in during the Paddy’s Day celebrations.

When: 16th-17th March
Over the course of the weekend, Camp and Furnace are hosting 6 great events to celebrate St Patrick’s this year. There’s an Ulster Fry event where you can fill your boots with Potato Bread, White Pudding and more. Then get ready for Paddy’s House Party – a ticketed event featuring hits from all your favourite Irish artists The Pogues, Dropkick Murphys, Bewitched, The Corrs – & everything in between!
St Patrick’s Day Festival

When: 14th – 17th March
Baltic Market has told festival-goers to prepare for “shamrocks, shenanigans and showers of Guinness” at this year’s Paddy’s Day Festival. The four-day furore is set to take the celebrations to the next level with a pop-up whiskey bar, amazing food, live music and more.

Mamma Mia, here we go again! Abba Night is back and better than ever with a night of fun, boogying and 70s & 80s pop floor fillers. If you fancy yourself a bit of a Chiquitita, then grab all your besties and head down to Kitchen St. You might even find your ‘man after midnight!’ See what we did there?
Spice Girls vs Destiny’s Child

For International Women’s Day 2019, Two are becoming One when Camp and Furnace call all those ‘independent women’ to ‘spice up their lives!’ With Hip Hop, Pop & R&B bangers all night, this is set to bring out the diva in all of those who attend.

If you’ve still not had your fill of all things ‘out of this world’, then why not attend the official Comic Con after party? There’ll be a Cosplay catwalk championship, Rave of Thrones, special guests and even surprise dance-offs from your favourite characters!
George Ezra
When: 9th March
Where: M&S Bank Arena
In his first ever headline arena tour, George Ezra is paying Liverpool a visit at the M&S Bank Arena.
On announcing the tour, George said, “Touring these new songs along with all of the first album has meant that the last year has been the most amazing twelve months imaginable, to all of you that have made a show so far, thank you. And to all of you that we will see next year, hold tight! Get practising those songs, polishing off your dancing shoes, let’s make it one to remember.”
Blue Planet II Live In Concert
When: 26th March
Where: M&S Bank Arena
This immersive sensory experience will host a selection of stunning visuals from the BAFTA award-winning television series, showcasing the amazing natural wonders of our blue planet, projected on a state-of-the-art screen. Accompanied by the original music Bleeding Fingers Music, the concert will be performed live by a full symphony orchestra! Definitely not one to miss this month.

Girl on The Train Starring Samantha Womack

This brilliant piece of theatre is adapted from the best-selling novel by Paula Hawkins. Girl on the Train stars Samantha Womack and Oliver Farnworth and is a gripping, compelling play that will keep you right on the edge of your seat.
Fame the Musical

It’s time to dig out those legwarmers and come celebrate the 30th-anniversary tour of Fame at the Liverpool Empire! Expect a feel-good, high-energy performance that will leave you reeling.
Abigail’s Party
When: 25th to 30th March
Where: Everyman Playhouse Theatre
This is one of Britain’s most celebrated comedies, and we’re lucky enough to welcome it to the Everyman this month! The cast includes stage and TV star Jodie Prenger, Coronation Street and Emmerdale favourite Vicky Binns and Midsomer Murders’ Daniel Casey.
