Follow the Snowflake Trail

All over Liverpool, throughout the festive season, 12 specially crafted snowflakes will be displayed as part of an art installation organised by Open Culture CIC and Liverpool BID Company.
The 1.5m Snowflakes will feature designs submitted by local artists and creatives who have added their own touch to the Snowflake structures. You will find Snowflakes dotted around the city, positioned in prominent places like main streets and close to major landmarks. It’s your job to find them all.
The Snowflake Trail encourages the exploration of Liverpool in a fun and unique way, keeping your family busy during the most magical time of the year.

Heigh Ho Heigh Ho, Time for Christmas Panto

The worlds most magical fairy-tale will be brought to life this Christmas at the Epstein Theatre in Liverpool, as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs take to the stage with an all-star cast.
How Clean is Your House Kim Woodburn will be playing the role of the Wicked Queen, whose attempts to become the fairest in the land put a young and beautiful Snow White in danger.
Safe with the Seven Dwarfs audiences can enjoy watching all the magic unfold amidst plenty of panto shenanigans. The perfect Christmas pantp to get everyone ready for the big day.

For Those Who Don’t Want to Grow Up

Head towards the ‘second star on the right and straight on til morning’ as the Echo Arena puts on a panto you and your little ones will love.
Enjoy all the magic from the well-known fairytale, Peter Pan and his adventures in Neverland with a cast of panto characters that bring plenty of well-mannered hilarity.
Fairy dust will be in plentiful supply as Tinkerbell, played by Radio City’s Leanne Campbell, sprinkles the audience with a little festive fairy-tale magic.

What Would Christmas be Without Chocolate?

Those days spent nibbling tree chocolates, dipping hands into buckets of Quality Streets and Roses or raiding selection boxes morning, noon and night are fast approaching, and we can’t wait.
This Christmas get the kids to make there own sweet treats to hang on the tree at the Palm Houses Children’s Christmas Chocolate party.
Here they can learn to pipe their very own lollies, play chocolate games and try a few new fantastic chocolate flavours along the way.

The crew at Camp and Furnace will be bringing their guests a white Christmas with indoor snow falling from the warehouse heavens. Every cheesy Christmas hit will be played for all to sing-along to and there’ll be plenty of great Xmas pressies, props and surprises up for grabs.

For years the Philharmonic has been the home of Christmas spirit in Liverpool and this year is no exception, as all things festive set up camp inside the iconic music hall.

Sing-along to traditional carols and sit back as Liverpool’s most gifted vocalists inspire the spirit of the season in everyone who attends.

Oh, Come All Ye Faithful for Carolling at Sefton

There’s nowhere more magical than Sefton Park’s Palm House all year long, but at Christmas, when the Victorian glass dome is filled with the sound of choral music from three local choirs its pure Christmas heaven.

Counting down the last week of Christmas, Sefton Park’s Palm House will be screening at least one Christmas movie per day.
Kicking things off with the 1951 rendition of Scrooge, running through the best modern movies including Die Hard, Nightmare Before Christmas and ending with everyone’s favourite forgotten child Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone.
Movies will start at 18:00pm and 20:00pm on the day of screenings and you can snuggle under blankets with hot chocolates and get ready for a marvellous movie experience this Christmas in Liverpool.

This winter more than 40 Bavarian style cabins will pop-up all-over St George’s plateau selling everything from sweeties and knitwear to huge selections of arts and crafts made all over the world.
Three bars will flank the market pouring pints of world beers and mugs of mulled wine all day every day and food stalls will cook and sell tasty treats, including traditional German dishes and Sunday Roast Yorkshire Pudding Wraps.

Christmas Spectacular at The Bombed-Out Church

The 10th Annual Winter Arts Market in Liverpool

For the 10th year running, the Liverpool Winter Arts Market will be bringing a selection of independent traders together to sell their wares.
Over 200 stalls will set up inside the cavernous main hall of Liverpool Cathedral, giving visitors a chance to bag a truly unique hand-crafted gift for someone special this Christmas.
Not only will people be able to purchase exquisite works of art, but they’ll even get the chance to create something themselves by joining in a wreath making workshop provided by Ewer-Roberts Flowers.

Secret Winter Garden Croxteth Hall
