Disney on Ice

Enter the wonderful world of Disney on Ice this Easter weekend! All of your favourite characters will be heading to the M&S Bank Arena for a show filled with fun, frolics and fantastic performances. From Minnie to Mickey, Timon to Pumbaa – you’ll be reliving all of your favourite Disney moments from the minute the show starts!
Easter Workshops at the Tate

When: 2nd – 5th April
This might not be on Easter weekend, but it’s a great option for the Easter Holidays. Drop into the Tate Liverpool for some fun, free and family-friendly crafts and activities. You’ll be exploring the theme of spaces in this brilliant workshop with artist Sarah Marsh, both in the gallery and in the Tate’s Clore Studio. Better yet, it’s suitable for all ages so Mum and Dad can get involved, too!
The Wizard of Oz

When: 11th – 22nd April
Follow the yellow brick road all the way to the Epstein where you’ll be transported to the magical world of Oz this Easter! Why don’t you push the boat out and really make it a visit to remember with a stay in the Wizard of Oz room at Arthouse Hotel?
A Huge Indoor Funfair
Where: Exhibition Centre
When: 15th to 22nd April
During the school holidays, there’s going to be a huge indoor funfair inside the Exhibition Centre compete with Waltzers, Dodgems – and even a huge inflatable obstacle course! It’ll be the longest, continuous, inflatable obstacle course in the world and you can bring the family for a day of fun – for just £10 per person.
Little Rockstars Disco

When: 13th April
Boogie on down to the Beatles with the little ones on the 13th of April. Alongside great music, there’ll be arts and crafts tables, face painting, soft play, dance-floor parachute, bubbles, balloons and glow sticks. They’re encouraging fancy dress, so get your best Sgt Pepper’s jacket on and get ready for a brilliant Easter day out in Liverpool!

OMG! Dinosaurs have invaded Liverpool ONE! If you’ve been in the city centre lately, you may have seen the huge dinosaur tail coming out of a building or some rather suspicious clues. You can download the ‘Discover at Liverpool ONE’ from to unleash a prehistoric, interactive, dinosaur-filled adventure. Collect points as you hatch dinosaurs from giant eggs within Liverpool ONE, visit the feeding stations, enter the Battle Arena and even get clued up at some educational fact stops!

After sell-out shows back in December, Lost in Music is back. Join Circo this Easter for a night full of all your favourite floor-fillers played by all your favourite DJ’s! Back by popular demand, Holly Ellison will be there performing loads of club anthems. Get those dancing shoes ready, it’s gonna be a big one.
Circus Presents: Elrow Liverpool

Elrow is coming back to Liverpool, this time at the amazing Bramley Moore Dock Warehouse for a day-time party you won’t forget. Space-age style is the focus of the event as they bring a brand new theme: RowsAttacks. Expect sci-fi, flying saucers, friendly aliens and more as you boogie your way to another universe.
Easter Weekender at the Baltic Market

When: 18th to 22nd April
Of course, no occasion in Liverpool is complete without a mention of Baltic Market in the Baltic Triangle! The now iconic street food market has taken the city by storm and this Easter in Liverpool, they’re hosting a bonanza to top them all. There’ll be live music, a maker’s market and some special surprises planned for the weekend from Thursday through until Monday and it’s set to be incredible.

Sweeney Todd

For those who aren’t familiar, this is a tale of vengeance, blood-curdling conspiracy and the dark side of 18th Century England. This is an unmissable bit of theatre with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Don’t miss out on this darkly comic and musical marvel that is heading to the Everyman Theatre.
Rumours of Fleetwood Mac
Where: Liverpool Philharmonic
When: 20th & 22nd April
The Mick Fleetwood-approved tribute act is coming to the Liverpool Philharmonic this Spring with its ‘Anniversary Tour’, a brand new show celebrating 50 years of the very best of Fleetwood Mac. The performance will also include a very special blues set paying tribute to Fleetwood Mac’s legendary Peter Green era.
Double Fantasy: John & Yoko
Where: Museum of Liverpool
When: Ends 22nd April
Coming to an end on 22nd April, the famous John and Yoko Exhibition at the Museum of Liverpool is a wonderful free celebration of the life and times of two of the most famous creative artists in modern history. You can journey through many personal artefacts, pieces of art, music, film and more – all produced by John and Yoko.
