It’s getting to be an exciting time of year for Liverpool, with the days getting warmer (slightly) and the nights getting longer, Liverpool is going full steam ahead with making the most of being able to make the most of the city. The highlight of the spring calendar is, of course, the Liverpool Spring Festival.
Previously renowned for being the premium place to fill your stomach to bursting with Liverpool’s best tastes and flavours, this year, Liverpool Spring Festival has expanded to be an all-inclusive event that provides an experience like no other in the city.
Bringing together food and drink with wellness workshops, craft opportunities and animal experiences, Liverpool Spring Festival is set to be the biggest and best yet. The festival is now in its fourth year and has become a beacon for celebrating the city’s incredible independent food and drink scene.

When and Where
Once again, Liverpool Spring Festival takes over Sefton Park in South Liverpool, in the picturesque area by the lake on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of April 2018.
On Saturday 28th April, the gates will open at 10:30 am, get there early to browse the stalls and features before the crowds come flooding in around lunchtime. The festival will be operating until 7:30 pm, giving you plenty of time to eat and drink everything in sight while taking advantage of all the amazing sideshows.

Getting to the south of Sefton Park is easy, with plenty of bus routes passing nearby from the city centre and St Michael’s train station being only a short walk away. Private hire taxis average between £6 and £12 from the city centre but be wary of surge charges when using Uber.
Advanced tickets for Liverpool Spring Festival come at a discounted price, with day passes costing £7 and weekend passes £11.50 if you book before you arrive. Prices on the gate go up to £8.50 and £12.50, but children under 14 get free entry all weekend!
