How to Celebrate Chocolate Week in Liverpool

Have you heard the wonderful news? It’s chocolate week! For one week only, you have every right to indulge in your favourite chocolatey treats and no-one can judge you. To help you celebrate in style, we’ve come up with the best dishes and drinks you have to visit to mark the occasion.

Visit The Chocolate Cellar

The Chocolate Cellar creates handmade chocolates that are both delightful and delicious – and you can join in the fun, too. Just in time for Chocolate Week! You can attend a chocolate making workshop, which will be taught by one of the cellar’s experienced chocolatiers.

The Pint of Filth from Moloko

Forget what you know about milkshakes and take yourself along to Moloko, as they offer one amazing Pint of Filth, which is an Oreo and caramel shake, which also features a shot of honey bourbon and banana liqueur. This boozy shake is naughty for many wonderful reasons.

Register for Run For Chocolate

If you love chocolate, but don’t like it adding to your waistline, you could always sign yourself up to Run for Chocolate. This event is open to all ages and abilities, offering a fun and active day out in the city, as you can walk, jog or run a 5km distance. You’ll also receive a comforting mug of hot chocolate at the end of the marathon. Now that’s a reason to make it across the finish line!

Dates are yet to be announced, but it’s a great winter event that’s open to every age, speed and levels.

Enjoy a Hot Chocolate at The Bastion Bar & Restaurant

After a hard day’s work or an evening of shopping, there’s no place better to come out of the cold than at The Bastion Bar & Restaurant, who are offering a fantastic hot chocolate. In fact, it’s so good, you’ll want to jump right into the mug. So, cosy up at this beautiful bar and restaurant with a loved one for a chocolatey treat.

Grab a Freak Shake from Barley & Beans

Barley and Beans

Barley & Beans have enhanced the traditional milkshake, creating a drink/dessert that will absolutely blow your mind. While they might have different flavours to choose from, we think their Nutella Brownie freak shake should definitely be your choice this week. We could go on, but sometimes words just aren’t required when something looks that good.

Try the New Chocolate Dessert at Carpathia

30 James Street’s Carpathia Champagne Bar & Restaurant has launched an amazing new menu you’re going to want to try – and there’s no better time to try their new chocolatey dessert than during Chocolate Week, right?

This exquisite Liverpool restaurant is offering a scrumptious chocolate brownie with pistachio ice cream, accompanied by French Meringue pieces and a salted caramel sauce. Trust us, it is sheer heaven. The new menu will launch this Wednesday, so book a table today.
