There are not just student events hitting the streets either, there are air shows, beer festivals and exclusive markets. Where: Baltic Market
The wildly successful Baltic Market is hosting the first Hobo Bazaar, which is set to become a monthly event. Brought to you by Hobo Kiosk, one of the Baltic Market’s finest independent shops. With an array of stalls with all sorts of delights and vintage finds. It’s a magpie’s dream to wander the rows upon rows of recovered and upcycled furniture, art and clothing.
When: 18th September
It’s that time of year again when thousands of new students begin the next step of their lives in our wonderful city. Krazyhouse is giving them a warm welcome with their iconic Freshers Carnival, an event like no other, the carnival promises an insane party and eccentric reality experience.
Showing the Liverpool newcomers how it’s done with fire breathing contortionists, carnival dancers, confetti cannons and so much more. It’s going to be the event of Freshers season.
Liverpool Loves Cocktail Festival
When: 18th-24th September
Where: Multiple Bars
A week-long cocktail festival is just what the doctor ordered after a summer that finished in the blink of an eye. All the best bars in the city are coming together for a week of offers, events and cocktails to fill the boots of Liverpool’s tipple lovers.
Aloha, Cosy club, Mojo and Heebie Jeebies are just some of the big names that will be playing host to serve a special, once in a lifetime menu of £5 cocktails. Southport Air Show
When: 15th– 17th
Where: Southport Seafront
If you’ve never visited the Southport Seafront for the legendary Air Show, you’re missing out. A whole weekend of family fun with breathtaking Red Arrows performances, speed crafts and activities for people of all ages to enjoy.
The Air Show Village is a highlight of the weekend, as well as being able to watch light aircraft land on the beautiful beach. Booking in advance saves you money, so make sure you get your tickets asap!
Liverpool Food & Drink Festival
When: 16th– 17th
Where: Sefton Park
The iconic Food & Drink Festival returns mid-September for its 10th Anniversary celebrations. With tasty food and hand crafted drinks from across Liverpool and beyond, it remains as popular today as it always has been.
There’s even a special appearance from famous TV Chefs The Hairy Bikers and Simon Rimmer from Saturday Morning Kitchen. Live music will be provided by Liverpool’s very own success story The Lightning Seed in a separate anniversary festival concert. Get your tickets here.
Daft Punk Tribute
When: 22nd September
Daft Punk, The Tribute will be descending on the legendary, multi-level club on 22nd September. The world’s number one tribute band are famous for putting on an unforgettable show with all the greatest hits from the famous duo.
It’ll be a late night event, with the act taking the stage at 10.30pm, but the doors of Karazyhouse will welcome you in until the early hours of the morning. Make sure you get your tickets first as it’s pegged to be a sure sell out!

If you’re a fan neon and carnivals and live DJs, then you need to get yourself down to Constellations in the Baltic Market. Fiesta Bombarda is bringing their neon nebula carnival to the Baltic’s best warehouse for an evening of UV canons, amazing set designs and interactive stalls.
It’s going to be an incredible night with street food and performers entertaining the masses for an unforgettable evening.
St George’s Hall Beer Festival
When: 29th September – 1st October
Where: St George’s Hall
The Great Hall at St George’s plays host to a real ale festival at the end of this month, with a selection of ciders and bottled beers added in for good measure. Join the hosts, Liverpool Organic Brewery, in the iconic building for live music, hot food stalls and even an indoor gin garden!
There are VIP tickets available with the chance for unlimited ales and ciders (there are over 200!) and queue jump into the best beer festival in town.
