Summer is reaching it’s peak, with long hot days and lazy evenings around the BBQ. And there’s no shortage of summery entertainment all around Liverpool this month to keep you, and the family, entertained.

Titanic: The Musical

Pier Head Village

Where: Pier Head

The summer fun continues on Liverpool’s waterfront as the Pier Head Village enters its second month of 2018.

Thrill rides, artisan markets, an art fair and incredible food will all continue to be served up beside the Mersey seven days a week, as well as plenty of child-friendly fun from the Village Bounce area.

Alice in Wonderland

When: 2-3 August

Where: Epstein Theatre

Take a trip down the rabbit hole with this stage adaptation of Lewis Caroll’s famous story. Let the whole family be entranced by the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts during this panto-esque style show with signing, dancing puppetry and plenty of audience participation.

CBBC Summer Social

When: 3-5 August

Where: Croxteth Hall

CBBC is taking over Croxteth Hall for three days with an incredible line-up for a bonanza of a live event. Head to the historic hall to see talent from some of the most popular kids shows on TV take to the stage, including special guests from The Next Step, The Worst Witch, Deadly 60 and Saturday Mash Up!.

Plus, CBeebies favourite Mr Tumble will be on-site to keep the little ones entertained at a CBeebies Village filled with exciting activities and performances.

And with junior discos, slime experimenting, treasure hunts, gaming areas, character walk-abouts and vlogger meet and greets, there’s tones of activities for all the family to get involved in.

Skyline Rooftop Party – Beatles Tribute

Celebrate a night of the Fab Four eight floors up in the heart of Liverpool, at this Beatles Tribute Night. ASBO Cinema: Back to the Future

The Titanic Experience in VR

Ever wondered what the inside of the Titanic was like before it sank? Step into the opulence of the luxury cruise liner with this virtual reality experience at Liverpool Maritime Museum and find out.

The Dollar Bills Burlesque Summer Showcase

The Late Wake Club: Elvis Presley

Lost Castles

Ever fancied building a castle? Well, this month the whole family can get involved constructing an extraordinary 20-metre tall structure of cardboard and tape as the Lost Castle community activities hits Merseyside.

Hundreds of volunteers are expected to turn out to build incredible castle-inspired structures based on historical structures within the area. A creative project dreamed up by French artist Olivier Grossetete, the free project is encouraging everyone to sign up and help create these magical structures, before joining in the fun of toppling them at the end of the weekend!

Liverpool Rum and Reggae Festival

Keep the summer vibes going by heading to Liverpool’s Rum and Reggae Festival for spirits, steel drums, carnival dancers and traditional Jamaican food.
